Invasive species prevention and management is a non-partisan issue that impacts our way of life: agriculture, biodiversity, commerce, environmental protection, forestry, natural resources, outdoor recreation, tourism, and water. The NAISMA Government Relations Program participates in strategic partnerships, educates and informs, and advocates for the invasive species management community. We seek to educate invasive species professionals, organizations, policy makers, and agency leaders in Washington, D.C. and across North America through National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW).
