Terrestrial Invasive Plant Management Certificate Course

The Terrestrial Invasive Plant Management Certificate Course is an asynchronous, professional, online program designed to provide a well-rounded foundation in terrestrial invasive plant and noxious weed management. The course takes approximately 20 hours to complete.
This course consists of sequenced video presentations, along with supplemental materials for in-depth learning and assessment. Most video lessons are original content developed exclusively for this course, supplemented with case studies and presentations from NAISMA’s webinar library. There are twelve segments in this course, with multiple learning pieces included in each.
Course Access
Upon registration, students will have 180 days to access and complete the course. Participants are expected to move in order through each lesson, reading the information, watching the videos in full, and exploring supplemental learning options such as publications, activities, or websites. Videos can be rewatched at any time during the access period. Participants will receive a reminder email before their 180-day access period ends to ensure they have time to finish the course and receive their certificate.
Registration Fee
$397 for NAISMA members or $497 for non-members.
Non-members can add a $100 individual membership and receive the member price on this course.

Who Should Enroll
This course is designed for individuals interested in learning the foundational aspects of terrestrial invasive plant and noxious weed management. It is strongly recommended that students complete the Foundations of Invasive Species Management Certificate Course prior to enrolling, but there are no prerequisites.
A certificate from NAISMA will be issued upon successful completion.
