The NAISMA Certified Weed Free Products Inspector Certification Course

The North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) Certified Weed Free Products (WFP) Inspector Certification Course is an asynchronous, professional, online program designed to provide inspectors with the training necessary to certify forage, gravel, mulch, or compost to the international WFP standards. The full course takes approximately 6 hours to complete.
NAISMA’s WFP Program is the only program in North America that provides land managers with assurance that noxious weeds will not be spread through the movement of forage, hay, mulch, gravel, or compost brought onto a property. NAISMA maintains science-based standards, provides guidelines, facilitates communication among stakeholders, and ensures uniform training and participation across jurisdictions.
Course Access & Certification
Participants will have access to the course for the full 2-year certification period. Certification is valid for two years and must be renewed upon expiration. Certified inspectors will receive a reminder email before their 2-year certification period expires to ensure they have time to renew their training and maintain active certification.
