About Government Relations

Invasive species prevention and management is a bipartisan issue that impacts our way of life: agriculture, commerce, tourism, recreation, and health. NAISMA’s Government Relations Program cultivates strategic partnerships, educates and advocates, and elevates the invasive species management community. We engage with federal lawmakers and agency leaders in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and raise awareness on the Hill with National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW).
