Presented by: W. Samantha Yuan, Research and Outreach Manager Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Invasive Plant Management Section
Invasive Plant Management Section’s Research and Outreach Program within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) offers opportunities for research and outreach funding. In the last 51 years, the R&O Program has supported over $38M in contracted research and outreach projects. The program’s goal in funding applied research is to obtain innovative methods and best practices using integrated pest management to control invasive plants in Florida. The program also funds outreach projects that promote awareness of invasive plants and their relevance to conservation. This webinar will cover examples of successful projects and tips that will improve your chances of getting funding.
